Upgrading - PasswordAttribute problem

Oct 7, 2012 at 11:24 PM

Hi.

I'm busy upgrading my project to the new release.

(Made a new, MVC 4 project, and busy merging all changes after installing NO MVC)

I'm getting this when running:

"Could not load type 'NakedObjects.PasswordAttribute' from assembly 'NakedObjects.Attributes, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'."

Any ideas?

The Password attribute was removed in 5.0, because it had been marked as Obsolete for multiple releases (ever since 4.0 in this case,, I think).  Use DataType(DataType.Password) instead. This is in line with our policy of adopting the Microsoft annotation, in favour of our own, whenever there is the option.

Note:  It is strongly recommended that you set Warnings as errors on your solution  -  especially Obsolete errors.  'Obsolete' typically indicates deletion in a future version.

Perfect. Thanx for that.
